Aerial view of Skellig Michael, the larger of the two Skelligs. These rocky islands are situated off the south coast of Kerry with numerous ferry services available for tourists who want to explore this Unesco World Heritage Site.
On the right pinacle from this view are the remains of an early Christian monastic settlement.
If you intend visiting you should be reasonably fit and not be prone to
either vertigo or seasickness but having said that if you're in the area
then it's a 'must do'.
