Rainy scene; the Galty Mountains from an aerial viewpoint, overhead
Cashel with Ballynahinch and River Suir to the lower right, in the foreground.
This was photographed flying over county Tipperary while clipping along at
nearly 200 mph thanks to our retractable gear, also assisted by a tailwind.
We were on the lee of the mountains and if you're looking for an aerial
perspective of rain then this is the most likely place to find it. This can have
it's downsides as it's likely territory for turbulence too but we were lucky with
smooth air and were treated to plenty of showers with backlit shafts of light.
