This aerial photograph of Thurles' GAA stadium is viewed from the Killinan end. Gaelic games have been played on this site since 1910 and in 1934 major works were undertaken to accommodate 60,000 supporters.
The grounds came under the control of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) in 1956.
