Aerial photo of The Beacon, Baltimore, West Cork. This is a navigational beacon at the entrance of Baltimore harbour. Also known as' Lot's wife', this structure was built in the early 1800's as a result of the Napoleonic wars. Well worth a visit for its magnificent views to Sherkin Island and Roaringwater Bay.
