Aerial photograph of
colour and texture

This aerial scene of an immature tree plantation makes for an
interesting
image with its combination of muted mottled colours, tones, hues and textures, added to that an odd visual effect of varying scales which at first glance, when viewed in it's entirety seems distant but then smaller areas suddenly become much closer giving away the true scale of the content in the image.
Maybe an example of fractals in the natural world?.
