Ballyfin is a 5 star hotel in County Laois, set in 600 acres at the foot of the Slieve Bloom Mountains.
The existing house was built in the 1820's in the neo classical style but fell into disrepair.
Then in 2002 the new owners embarked on fully restoring the house to it's original splendour, taking 8 years to complete.
Opening for guests in 2011, the house is now a hotel with just 15 bedrooms adding to its air of luxury and exclusivity.
Activities include horse riding, shooting, archery & falconry, course fishing on the private lake.
