Knowth archaeology aerial photo  

This important arechaeological site is located close to the Boyne river in
County Meath.
Knowth is a megalithic passage tomb dating from 3000 BC.
This 5000 year old construction comprises the Great Mound with two
passages and entrances at opposite sides.
The Great Mound is surrounded by 18 smaller tombs.
