Following an aerial photography shoot, we spotted this Beech 18 parked outside the hangar as we were walking back to the ops office. She was being prepared and about to depart for the final time from Ireland on a delivery flight to her new owners in Prague - via Duxford.
This Beechcraft, Beech 18. ' Southern Comfort' is a twin engined USAF
WW2 era light transport designated as C-45H when used in a military role.
This particular model would have been built in the 1950's according to the 'H' spec.
