The aerial photo here shows that the old Beamish Brewery site earmarked for the Cork Events Centre has not shown any significant progress for the past few years, with calls being made this month to have the current developer's project scrapped and re tendered due to spiraling costs which may result in moving the Events Centre development to a new site.
