Aerial photo of Gorse Fires ( Ballingeary ) 2013

Aerial photo shoots can be challenging enough without having to
contend with instances such as this, interfering with air quality and
my ability to successfully complete a commissioned job nearby, apart
at all from the obvious air safety issues for VFR flights.
Gorse fires were widely reported over the weekend with one of the
worst out-of-control mountain gorse fires seen near Ardgroom on
the Beara Peninsula which apparently had a 5 mile wide front.

This view is close to Ballingeary.
